DESCRIPTION

Weingut Kranz from the southern Pfalz is among the top wineries in Germany. Although much attention often goes to Riesling, the Kranz family demonstrates with this 'Gutswein' that they are also true masters of Pinot Blanc. This German white wine feels completely at home on the sun-drenched, chalky soils around the village of Ilbesheim.

Boris and Kerstin Kranz, and now their son Xaver, cultivate their plots strictly organically, ensuring the soil is teeming with life. To preserve the wine's elegant, pure character, it is cool-fermented in stainless steel tanks after a manual harvest.
On the palate, the wine is beautifully balanced. It has a light, silky smoothness yet remains incredibly fresh thanks to a well-integrated acidity.

This Pinot Blanc is suitable as an aperitif or pairs well with scallops. And when the season is right; asparagus!
