DESCRIPTION

The Pornay family's vines in the Mâconnais region are predominantly planted on limestone and loam soils. The moderate climate ensures good fruit ripeness, and thanks to the soil, this Gamay has a fine structure and freshness. Father and son have also limited oak usage for their red wine. Mainly old barrels are used to age the wine for a short period. This Mâcon Bussieres has a structure somewhat reminiscent of a Pinot Noir, but with the fruit character of Gamay.

Domaine des Terreaux thus produces one of the best red Mâcons!

The wine pairs well with veal or poultry.
