What a wine!
Sourced from various vineyards around Cerignola in Puglia. The soil consists of clay and limestone. It is warm and dry there. Ideal for full-bodied Primitivo.
After the harvest, the grapes are destemmed and fermented in stainless steel tanks. The wine ages for two months in stainless steel tanks, followed by 12 months of aging in barriques.
Full of flavor, soft tannins, lots of dark fruit and hints of spices. This is how you want Primitivo.
Full flavors, serve the wine with pasta with rich sauces, stews, and aged cheeses. Or enjoy it by the fireplace after dinner.
