Langhe Roero Arneis `Camestri` 2025 Marco Porello

This refined white wine comes from the Camestri vineyard, located in the hills around Alba in Piedmont. The soil consists of sand and limestone, which provides fresh acidity and an elegant structure. Winemaker Marco Porello is known for his modern interpretation of local grape varieties. With great attention to terroir, he creates pure, expressive wines.
Arneis, also known as "Nebbiolo Bianco", is a distinctive but delicate grape from Piedmont. The grape has been making a strong comeback in recent years and yields fresh, aromatic wines with finesse. Thanks to careful vinification, the subtle character of Arneis comes into its own. An elegant wine with a soft structure.

After the manual harvest, the grapes are gently pressed to preserve the delicate aromas. Fermentation lasts approximately 20 days in stainless steel tanks. The wine then matures on the fine lees, which provides extra roundness and complexity. The use of wood is deliberately avoided to preserve the fresh and pure character of the wine.

A fresh and accessible white wine with subtle fruit notes and a light minerality. Perfect as an aperitif, but also ideal to enjoy all evening. Excellent with pasta with fish or shellfish, light salads and fresh cheeses. A versatile table wine for any occasion.
