This expressive rosé is made from Syrah and Merlot, sourced from high-altitude vineyards situated between 850 and 1050 meters above sea level. The calcareous soils, warm days, and cool nights ensure slow ripening with abundant aroma, freshness, and concentration. The grapes are harvested mechanically at night to preserve maximum freshness. Fermentation then takes place at a low temperature (16 °C), which contributes to extra fruit expression and finesse.
In the glass, the wine displays plenty of red fruit, such as strawberry and raspberry, structure, and a long finish. The combination of the dry continental climate and large temperature differences gives the wine its lively character and soft tannins.
Delicious as an aperitif, but also perfect with spicy dishes, tapas, or a classic paella. A characterful rosé, indicative of the quality of the DO Almansa.
