Sourced from our own vineyards in Rioja Alta, in the Uruñuela area, at an altitude between 500-800 meters.
The wine matures for 15 months in oak barrels, with staves made of American oak and heads made of French oak. The wine then matures for at least another 6 months in the bottle in the cellars.
This Crianza "Tinto Familia" originates from our own vineyards around Uruñuela, located in the heart of Rioja Alta. The vineyards are situated at an altitude of approximately 500 to 800 meters, where the cooler climate ensures a slow and even ripening of the grapes. Rioja Alta is known for its elegant and refined wines with a classic signature. The combination of altitude, climate, and soil produces wines with power, finesse, freshness, and depth.
Made from 100% Tempranillo, from a strict selection of grapes from older vineyards. After harvesting, the grapes are fermented in small tanks, after which the wine matures for approximately 15 months in oak barrels, made from American oak (staves) and French oak (heads). Subsequently, the wine undergoes at least another 6 months of bottle aging to further develop its character and balance.
A full-bodied, complex red wine with aromas of black cherries and ripe strawberry, complemented by notes of chocolate, tobacco, and coconut. Subtle spiciness and wood influences provide extra depth. The wine has a beautiful balance between ripe fruit, fresh acidity, and refined tannins. Elegant, powerful, and perfectly balanced.
